Be Formed in the Faith

Introduction

Christ commissioned each of us to “go and make disciples”.  To attain that goal, the Diocesan Office of Faith Formation is organized in such a way that particular attention is given to each component of life-long catechesis.  Professional staff members coordinate the following areas of faith formation:  Children, Adolescent, Young Adult, Adult, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, RCIA adapted for children, Marriage, Family Life, and Catechist Formation.  Together we strive to integrate faith formation within the parishes and schools/academies within the Diocese of Brooklyn using our Office of Faith Formation Strategic Plan for 2011—2014 and our resource for catechetical planning entitled The Seed is the Word of God as our foundational documents.
